  Friday February 2nd, NACCMA and NADIC co-hosted an event with Export Credit Norway, represented by Lars B. Hasle. Mr. Hasle discussed the company’s mission: ‘To provide financing to buyers of Norwegian Exports’. Export Credit Norway, in cooperation with GIEK – The Norwegian Export Credit Guarantee Agency, offer competitive financing to buyers of Norwegian capital goods and services worldwide. The reception included speakers from different sectors, all discussing the relationship between Norway and The United States. Assistant Defense and Naval Attaché in the Royal Norwegian Navy, Captain Erik Bøe, discussed Norway as a Maritime nation focusing on the Royal Norwegian Navy. Mrs. Katharina Brekke Powers represented NACC-MA and discussed the chamber, and it’s growing membership base. Representing the Royal Norwegian Embassy was Minister Counselor of Economic Affairs Leif Trana, who presented the Embassy’s recently published report Norway Creates Jobs. Young Associate Event at the Danish Embassy

On January 25th, NACC-MA held its biggest Young Associate event yet, in collaboration with the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce and the American-Danish Business Council. 60 young professionals from Scandinavia as well as the U.S attended the event, hosted by the Embassy of Denmark. Attendees listened to speakers from Statoil, Terma and Skanska speak about being Scandinavian companies competing in the U.S market, and enjoyed drinks and food at a networking reception in the Ambassadors residence after.
