The Mid-Atlantic Norwegian-American Chamber of Commerce is fortunate to have the
Honorable Knut Vollebæk, the Norwegian Ambassador to the United States, and former
Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs, as our Honorary Chairperson.
Earlier, as head of the United Nation’s Organization for Security
and Cooperation, he played a key role in negotiating a successful
peace agreement ending the war in Kosovo. During his career, he
has developed close relations with many political figures and
American officials.
