The Nordic Chambers of Commerce/Business Councils, represented by the
American-Danish Business Council, the Finnish-American Business Council, the
Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce and the Mid-Atlantic Norwegian-American
Chamber of Commerce in D.C., held their first Networking Event at The Ronald
Reagan Building and International Trade Center on November 24, 2003.
The meeting focused on development and trends in the rapidly changing mobile
telecommunication industry with speakers from Nokia and Telenor Satellite
Services. Nokia and Telenor Satellite Services, two of the world leading
telecommunication companies within their field of operation, presented a
unique perspective on near term product and service developments in a
globalized communication market.
