The Young Professionals Committee held an informal meeting March 3, 2004 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Ritz-Carlton Tyson Corner's Lobby Lounge to discuss the goals, activities, and events for the group in 2004.

| Summary of Discussions |
|
Discussions were focused on opportunities that could arise from working together to create meaningful social /business network to assist in meeting professional and personal goals.
Several activity ideas were discussed including plans for a trip to New York to network with the NACC New York Chapter Young Professionals, contact with other chambers, dinner meetings providing a forum to share committee member business capabilities and contacts, professional development workshops, group involvement in local charitable and volunteer events, and additional networking events that would strengthen our business & social network.
The meeting also included information about the background for establishing a Chamber in the Mid-Atlantic region, strategies for expanding the membership base with Norwegian and American companies and individuals, and upcoming NACC MA chamber events and value-added programs planned for this year.
