The Mid-Atlantic Norwegian American Chamber of Commerce celebrated its third anniversary with a dinner following the Annual Meeting. 33 members and guests attended the great evening. Guest of Honor was our Honorary Chairman, Ambassador Knut Vollebaek who gave an broad overview of the 2005 Centennial Celebration and the peaceful ending of the Sweden-Norway union in 1905. The President thanked the previous board members present for their excellent work for the Chamber. The dinner event ended with an exciting presentation by Commander Anders Lekven, The Royal Norwegian Navy about his planned Viking Expedition 2005, a crossing of the Atlantic from Norfolk, VA to Bergen, Norway in a 26-foot cabin cruiser.
