NACC MA Fundraising

The Chamber's fundraising assistance contributed to secure the 2003 Norwegian Christmas at Union Station Festival.

The now famous Norwegian Christmas at Union Station Festival is combining culture and business by providing unique networking and marketing opportunities for Norwegian and American businesses. This year the Royal Norwegian Embassy and the Mid-Atlantic Norwegian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC MA) joined forces to raise funds for the Norwegian Christmas at Union Station Festival.

The joint effort resulted in generous donations by 21 companies who sponsored and secured the event with cash and in-kind contributions. 18 of the 21 sponsors provided cash contributions of approximately $105,000 of which $75,000 derived from various NACC MA initiatives. Union Station provided in kind contributions for lease of space in the Main Hall, SAS gave free roundtrip tickets to Norway, and Georgetown Holiday Inn offered discount on room charges.

The Chamber is very pleased and thankful for the vital support from the sponsors and in particular from our American and Norwegian member companies. They are all involved in trade and business activities between our two countries.
