The Chamber held its Annual events April 19th at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland including the Annual Meeting of Members, Board Meeting and Annual Dinner. Guest of Honor at the Annual Dinner was Mrs. Ellen Sofie Vollebaek. Unfortunately, the Ambassador of Norway Knut Vollebaek was not able to attend. Speaker at the dinner was Knut Eggum Johansen, Director General, Norwegian Competition Authority, who gave an interesting talk on the subject titled: "What impact does the Norwegian Anti Trust Law and Policy have on your business?"
The Annual Dinner included a silent auction to raise funds for NACC MA operations and an award fund. The result of the silent auction was $3,900. The chamber is thankful for the many items received and to the lucky winners. The Chamber also very much appreciated the financial support from Lockheed Martin and Statoil.
The Dinner followed the Annual Meeting of members to elect new board members and a board meeting to constitute the new board. The new board elected the following representatives to the various positions in the organization:
