The chamber actively conducts targeted efforts to fulfill its purpose and
mission. Regular activities may include Annual Member and Board of Directors
Meeting, meetings in permanent and special committees, and networking
events. Exhibitions, seminars, festivals, executive round table conferences,
and executive travel seminars between Norway and the U.S., will be part of
the Chamber's activities. The 2004 program includes relevant business
and networking events related to the Embassy's Research Forum.

Reception for State Secretary Janne Johnsen
The NACC MA Seafood & Aquaculture committee and its Chairman Thor Lassen is
hosting a reception/dinner for Janne Johnsen, the State Secretary for the
Royal Norwegian Ministry of
Fisheries and Coastal Affairs on who is in Washington to give a
presentation on the Future of Aquaculture to the Friends of Norway Caucus.
The dinner reception will be held at 11450 Seneca View Way,
Great Falls, VA 22066 and begin at 7:00 p.m. It will feature seafood
products from Norway and Norwegian companies in the US.

Young Professionals get together at an Scandinavian Soirie
The Scandinavian Soirie is taking place is at the Embassy of Finland, 3301
Massachusetts Avenue, Washington DC at 08:00 pm to 12pm. The Soirée will
include traditional Scandinavian dance performance by Nordic dancers, buffet
catered by the Embassy of Finland, DJ equipped with the best Swedish,
Finnish, Norwegian and Danish music. Towards the end of the evening, we
will dance to the most popular international dance hits. Cash Bar filled
with lots of your favorite concoctions featuring Absolute and Finlandia.
