The purpose of the committee is to promote Norwegian and American defense
and related commercial technologies in the Norwegian and U.S. markets and to
focus on the two countries’ defense policies, technology developments, and
business opportunities in the defense and related commercial sectors.
The committee will host meetings with attendees from private industry,
military forces, defense associations, and government agencies. Members of
the Defense Technology Committee will be from military branches, government
organizations, and private industry.
The far-reaching network of contacts with the appropriate Norwegian Embassy
and U.S. government officials, politicians, military personnel, and defense
contractors from both Norway and the United States are expected to create
opportunities for the development of goodwill, effective bridge building,
and business relations in the defense and related commercial sectors. For
